Email sent to your gramma about a bedtime conversation tonight:
I just wanted you to know that the boys just shared some sweet things about you!
I mentioned some ideas for how to restore your childhood dresser so that we can keep it in use for as long as possible. I told the boys- "that dresser is from when gramma was a little girl. Isn't that special? I said, I love gramma so much- I want to keep that dresser a long time because it's special."
Jack said, "I love gramma so much too."
I said, I do to-- "it would take me a long time to say all the things I love about gramma."
Jack said, " It would take ME 20 DAYS to say all the things I love about gramma!"
We asked him to tell us a few:
"I love how she always is ready for us to come visit when we get there. I love how she always makes us a very nice dinner."
Charlie-- "I love how she always has a nice treat after dinner-- like Tookies!!"
These boys love so many people, and we don't always hear them be so descriptive of why. What a sweet chance to hear their impressions and knowledge that they are loved by you.
Love you-- Jen
