just an average little boy time

After successfully pulling off a four day trip to AZ to help Aunt Stacy and Uncle Mike and girls move in to their new house, having an overnight slumber part with Honey and Grampa and Uncle Jeff (which included your first professional haircuts and your first trip to Chuck E Cheese) and then unloading, grocery shopping and cleaning doing all laundry since returning 12 hours ago, I am just reeling with fatigue. And in that state- here are a few things that just happened with you two:

- Jack threw something across the living room. I said, "Jack we do NOT throw things inside the house!" Jack, you replied, "are you sure mama?"
- Charlie- you battled me on cutting ridiculously long nails to the point that I was winded like I was running- I handed you my hairbrush to hold while I worked and you accidentally (but with brute baby force) hit me in the temple with my brush so hard that I now have a bruise forming and I held my face in pain for more than a minute.
-Jack- I sneezed and you said, "bless you mama!" I was so happy that we ran to each other and hugged and did a nose-nose.
-Charlie- I have stopped typing so far 5 times to remove you from heights you have climbed to around the living room.
-Charlie- you are now saying, "uh-oh!" and it is possibly the cutest thing ever seen by a person with their eyes.
-We swam in Gramma and Papa's pool yesterday before leaving AZ and it was awesome-- Charlie- you loved everything about it. Jack- after you got over your usual uncertainties- we watched you say to yourself, "look at me. I am really getting in and out of the water all by myself."
-Also- Jack genius moment number one million- you put a snorkel into the pool that was pink. We mentioned that it was a snorkel and you said, "actually daddy, it's a pink cylinder."

I need to go so I can get you dressed in matching outfits for Noni and Popi.

I love you boys so- every one in your Arizona family was smitten with your cuteness too. It was worth it!
