"daddy! This summer, me and hippo and pooh bear and blankie and other blankie are all gonna swim this summer in the ocean."
"I like rice! To make me strong!"
In Marshall's at yelling volume, "Mama!!! I'm pooping right now!"
When you snuck out of your room during nap time and were in the hallway. I could hear you whisper to yourself, " I'm IN the hallway right now."
Heard from our bed when you were both in your room, "here Charlie, eat my boogies." We jumped out of bed right then.
"A-R-K dark dark dark!"
"Mama- Charlie's not eating from your body anymore, now he's eating from a bottle."
Saying the words, "package" , "pretend" and "pretect" instead of protect- they sound so much cuter when they are part of your stories.
You have moved into imaginative play now and we are having a blast. You talk to your toys, make car noises as you drive them and constantly make us laugh. You have even learned to attempt manipulation. Last night, you threw fits to not go to bed and hurt yourself by smashing your chin on the bathroom counter. I was so frustrated because I knew it was about to happen, tried to stop you from losing control but it happened anyway. When you stopped crying and we thought you had forgotten that we had only read two books instead of our normal three, you looked up at us with a pathetic whine and said, "daddy, I still need to read my third book." Not a very good teammate, I flew around the corner to laugh while your dad was face to face with you and had to keep a straight look.
You are a loving but challenging in the area of brotherhood. You do tend to want whatever Charlie has, you walk up and rip it out of his hands and then cannot understand what's wrong with him when he cries. Just so you know, your brother Charlie is going to be tough and you are not going to be doing this strong arming for long. We correct you each time- but we know there are battles ahead.
