Disneyland day- "the best" keeps on coming-

Last Tuesday, March 13th, Jack- you and dad and I went to Disneyland. Charlie- you hung out with Noni all day. We were at Disneyland for over 12 hours. It was an absolute dream come true. I think that I must have day dreamed it all some time in the past because of how awesome it felt to be real: watching my son with my husband, enjoy the wonder and magic of Disneyland rides until he passed out in his stroller at 4pm, then hanging out with my husband as people strolled by then back at the rides until dinner, always talking about the next two rides while walking to one, staring at my sons face instead of the ride, and changing into footie jammies at the end of the night for the blissfully sleepy ride home.

Jack- you watched each ride with your quiet intensity, giving away nothing- no fear but not really pleasure either. Then, as soon as we would turn the corner to the end, you'd say, "that was a good, good ride mama."

A few funny things that happened were that as we stared at your face in small world to find out what you thought, you pointed up to a huge butterfly and said, "daddy- we don't want that butterfly to poop on our heads!" Also - in front of the small world- you couldn't contain your excitement about one of the tress looking like a cheerio. At another point, you confidently said, "this is OUR day, mama. this is OUR day daddy."

I got to go on my favorite Space mountain by myself and daddy went on his choice- Star Tours. We went on 15 things together! That is a lot to do with a toddler! You were awesome in the lines almost the whole day, you were a pleasure to eat with, a pleasure all day long.

I loved our day at Disneyland- I am so looking forward to going again and the many times I will get to watch you have fun in the future.
