I'm here...

To Jack-

Just as I was working to get you to bed after a wonderful day of moments and laughs, we heard Charlie crying in the living room. We went out to him and you knelt down in front of him, put your little hands on his legs face to his face and said- "Charlie, don't worry. I'm here. I'm here. Don't worry Charlie." This is what I have learned about the personality of my Jack that I pray endures in your life- you care for others. Some day your brother will annoy you so badly- it may be tomorrow. But on this night, when you heard his cries- you wanted him to know that you are here for him. I pray that it is always this way.

On a different note-- this morning we were dancing in the kitchen and you were singing- at first just making sounds like music. That was pretty cute- then you looked up at me and said, "I'm still standing- yeah yeah yeah" It's a song- look it up.

Margaux--- today is baby Margaux's due date and we are patiently waiting for the call that the Carpenters are headed to the hospital. I hope you will know her well and be in each other's lives!
