a few more weeks

We have a few more weeks of going out to breakfast or dinner without carting you around and getting all your gear and wondering if you are going to cry and wondering if we will know what to do to soothe you in public.

Your dad had his last comedy show last night before your arrival! He did a great job and even made me laugh a couple of times even though I am at every show and think I have seen everything. I guess that is the beauty of improv-- every game is brand new. Over 200 people showed up-

We just had a man leave our apartment after getting our blood and urine samples and asking us questions about our health because we just got life insurance this week. Life insurance is an interesting time of life because basically we are getting it now only because of you. We would never want to die and not get to be with you but worse would be if there were no money to take care of you. So, we got life insurance and you'll be taken care of for a bit. We need to get more over the next couple of years but for now, we got what we can afford. I love you and hope you never need that money because I want to be with you as long as I can.

Alright-- off to breakfast on foot and no baby gear in tow!
