A few things happened this week that I'll never forget:
Jack-- you sang the abc's over and over and on video. We didn't even know you knew how to do this and all of a sudden, you did the whole thing! You also sang a song on video where you count to twelve and then say no-no-no-no-no and dance around. I don't know where it came from but it is so cute! You are working out such a sweet personality. You still spontaneously say " I love you mama," all the time.
A few other things you said just in the last day:
"I like cereal- my belly is happy."
"Uncle Esseye is a good boy."
In a whisper to your hippo, " hippo- you're my best friend."
On your first movie night with us (Toy Story), "mama- good movie with Buzz."
I type these all up, not because some day I think you'll marvel at them. This is more for me- I want to read this some day and be able to hear your little sweet voice as you are changing so fast.
Charlie- you continue to be so snuggly despite so much discomfort and 3 weeks of being sick! This week you have improved at the ability of playing in your pack and play with toys and not immediately wanting to be held. When put down on the ground, you usually bounce and smile a few times and then take off right away for one of Jack's toys. When I can hold you, you smile and coo at me and gently reach your hand up to my face and then dig your face into my shoulder. Just precious.
Night boys--- I hope we get some sleep tonight!
