Just don't want to forget- although I can't picture a day when I will- Jack- you have taken to two phrases that just melt our hearts but for different reasons.
The first one is "moob it" as in "move it." You have heard this in some context and have taken to pushing on our legs or on things that are in your way and repeating- "moob it, moob it." If ignored (because we are trying to hide our laughing) you repeat it several times. moob it moob it!
The other is "lub you." Your dad and I dreamed of the day when you'd look up at us and say "I love you" It has finally arrived but comes out more as lub you. Also- you are probably just repeating what we are asking you to say and still have to learn the meaning. But, you are getting the idea that it has to do with affection. My proof of this happened today.
I handed you hippo (after his trip to the washer after yesterday's poop debacle) and you immediately hugged him close to you- pushed your nose into his face and said, " oohh lub you, lub you hippo."
I don't know how to describe the feeling I got from this moment. Parenthood is a series of intense emotions that can't really be described- but I will keep trying.
