Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Jack!

This is my 100th post on your blog-- it has happened so fast!

Today was your first Thanksgiving. You rode in your stroller while I pushed you through the crowds of people for the 5K turkey trot in Dana Point California. You slept through most of it and some of it you smiled at the trees floating past your view.

We had a great day together and your dad and I just put you to bed. I wanted to send you a very important note today about this special day.

We hope that you will learn to be thankful for your life, your family, and ALL the things God gives you. This is a task you will have to work hard to achieve sometimes but you will need to learn it. It does not always come naturally to notice all that you have. But--- you will be very blessed for sure.

Look around your life right now and make some assessment of what it would be possible for God to NOT have given you-- and thank him for that.

We are thankful for you.
