So I already mentioned that we are both sick and hanging out at home for a couple of days. Yesterday, we were sitting on the couch watching a dance competition show- you love those. I was holding you in my arms and I coughed for a couple of seconds. Then, when I was done, you coughed for a couple of seconds. Then- as if you completely understand everything- you looked up at me and smiled.
"Hey mom-- it is a bummer we are sick but at least we are here together on a Tuesday morning with a great place to live watching a dance show and snuggling on the couch." That is what you would have said. And I agreed.
